The Old Town of Javea

The Old Town of Javea is wonderfully different from the sun, sand, sea and sangria of the rest of Javea!  It has its own unique vibe and spending an evening wandering around the little streets, in and out of tapas bars, is a fantastic night out.  In the summer, the pedestrianised streets are lined with tables and chairs – ideal for pitching up and doing a spot of people-watching.

There are some great value Spanish bars in the old town too – in some places you can sip a large glass of delicious Rioja and be brought a free plate of tapas for under 2 euros.

The architecture in the town is also really special – some stunning, typically Spanish buildings, all add to the wonderful ambience.

Live music very often adorns the streets in the summer, and there are many fiestas and events – do check out www.javeamigos.com  for all the latest events and what’s on guide!

Our tip is to go into the Old Town of Javea at night time – it seems to come alive then and is very beautiful when it’s all lit up!

Happy Holidays!
